Lever/Pad
Lever pad door handles are made up of a lever handle on one side and a paddle shaped handle on the other. These are designed for use with key wind locks. However, they can be fitted to multipoint split spindle door locks.

It is crucial that when selecting the new set of upvc lever pad handles, they match the PZ (distance from the spindle of the handle to the center of the hole of the cylinder) of your multipoint door locks. Lever/Lever

Once the handle is placed horizontally, you can put back the screws. Close them to ensure that the handle remains firmly attached to the base plate. You may want to apply a threadlocking solution to the threads of the screw to increase grip and prevent the threads from becoming loose over time.

It could also be that the levers are not being operated at a straight angle and this is causing the latch mechanism, preventing it from fully springing back into action.
